Mortal Engines

Mortal Engines By Philip Reeve

My opinion:

Mortal Engines is a really fantastic book. It has some really good characters who were very well expressed by the author. It was great!

The story:

This book is set in the future where cities are on wheels. They eat each other to survive but a boy (Natsworthy) has-been pushed off London by his so-called hero (Valentine). He and a girl are trying to get back to London, they have a very ghastly plan.

It is a thrilling adventure story with many twists and turns and is also very funny, such as : “He cut through the 21st Century gallery, past the big plastic statues of Pluto and Mickey, animal-headed gods of lost America

It is a great tale for 9-100!
